Legend Of The Seven Golden Vampires

This combination kung fu and vampire film (1973) is the offspring of a marriage of convenience between the British Hammer studios and Hong Kong’s Shaw Brothers. Directed by Roy Ward Baker; with Hammer regular Peter Cushing, as well as David Chiang, Julie Ege, and John Forbes Robertson. Thanks to the extreme violence, it wasn’t released to U.S. audiences for six years, and then only in highly cut versions. (JR)
